ATG PAINTING GETS FIVE STARS FROM US!!
We have a home and guest house finished with old barn wood and wanted to seal it. We contacted ATG Painting and John LaRosa, owner/CEO, came out to our home, met with my wife and I, and talked about our home and guest house and what he would recommend. We told him we were very concerned about the risks of fire and John introduced us to the concept of applying a Fire Retardant to the house first and then sealing it. John sent us a Power Point on the Fire Retardant, Penguin Ice, and we were sold.

ATG Painting, led by Danny Rodriguez, Crew Chief, first pressured washed our house, guest house and all decks to thoroughly clean all wood surfaces. The two days before ATG was to begin work, we had significant rain. John came to take moisture readings and announced we would need to delay at least a day to let the wood dry out. Luckily, it was sunny and when ATG came the next day, the moisture readings were fine and work began.

Danny and his crew worked for three full days. They applied two (2) coats of the fire retardant, Penguin Ice, let it dry for a day, then applied the sealer, WoodScapes by Sherwin Williams. The entire crew was amazing. Hard working and very polite, understanding and informative when we asked questions about the process and the work. We enjoyed all of the crew and appreciated the way they all worked together to finish on time.

I hired ATG to skim coat and paint all finished surfaces in my 1400 sq foot unit. Both the drywall and painting teams were hard working. The drywall team applied several coats to cover up what was a very heavy texture with excellent results. The painting team worked quickly and had a great attention to detail. However, what I really want to highlight is the integrity in which John operates his business. When an issue arose at our job site, John was responsive, present, and immediately remedied the situation at his expense, which eased what could've been a very stressful experience. Things can occasionally go wrong on a job site. It happens. What is more critical is how your contractor responds to a situation, and based on my experience, John will step up and make it right.

As an electrical contractor, I needed several hundred feet of conduit painted to match on a project of ours. I tried contacting several painting companies local to the area without any luck. ATG painting answered the phone, quickly provided a quote, did a fantastic job, met our timeline and maintained timely communication throughout the process. I will be utilizing their services if I need painting done again and I highly recommend them.
